Student Insights: Overholt follows work-MBA dream
We recently surveyed our MBA students to learn where they are in their career and asked what advice they have for those considering earning an MBA. We’ll share their thoughts periodically on this blog to help you decide if you should enroll in an MBA program. Here are a few insights from MBA student Steven Overholt, a customer solutions/retention specialist at Comcast Cable in Reading, Pa.
An MBA can give students an education based on real work experiences. Theory and practice combine to give students a full picture of the roles and responsibilities of being a business leader. Even before graduation, MBA students can apply their classroom knowledge in the workplace.
Steven’s MBA education has started to benefit him professionally at Comcast, where customer service and communications skills are essential.
